I have a love-hate relationship with working out. Some days, I’m really excited about going to the gym; other times, though, I’d rather do a swan dive into a beehive than do 30 minutes of cardio. It’s on those days, which happen quite a bit, that I need extra motivation to get to the gym. When a playlist of high-energy pop songs doesn’t do the trick, I turn to these 12 TV series, which are all streaming on at least one platform. There’s something about each of these shows that makes them great workout fare. Some are quick watches, so by the time I’m done with three episodes my workout is finished. Others are so melodramatic that I get engrossed and forget where I am (on the treadmill). Try watching them the next time your motivation to get to the gym is negative five.
