NxLevel, a resource for new and current area entrepreneurs, is currently enrolling students for the spring course, according to a news release from the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce.
NxLevel covers the basics of a business plan, provides insight on creating realistic and implementable goals and teaches solutions to limiting factors such as cash flow, employees and competition.
Lessons are taught each week by guest speakers who are professionals in their field, including marketing, business law, accounting, bookkeeping and management.
The program is appropriate for both those interested in running their own business and current business owners or operators.
Participants in the NxLevel course are encouraged to enter into the Enterprise Challenge, a business plan challenge hosted by New Vision Yakima County Development Association and the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce. First place prize is $10,000, and all contestants have the opportunity for individual work with business professionals. NxLevel will also focus on building a business plan ready for the competition.
The course is approved for the Self Employment Assistance Program. For more information on SEAP, contact WorkSource at 509-925-5311.
